When: Saturday October 5th and Sunday October 6th
Where: Santa Barbara Harbor, on board a 41 ft. sailboat (we’ll be staying in the harbor, not sailing)
Why: Storm’s Raw Recipes are….
Plus get exclusive secrets of raw success, anti-aging, longevity, fitness and raw recipe creation that Storm only offers in person!
Price: $397 for the weekend. Does not include lodging (except if you want to “crash” — see below). We can recommend several hotels on Cabrillo Blvd. which are about a 5 minute walk from the harbor.
Limit: We are limiting this class to ten people due to space considerations. (4 spaces are left)
Schedule: We’ll start at 9:00 AM Saturday and go til 8:00 PM. Then Sunday 6:00 AM (For those who want to hike or do beach run) until after dinner Sunday. Storm will be demonstrating / teaching - including some hands-on helping opportunities making Raw Carrot Cake (amazing new recipe), Raw Spring Rolls (another new as yet unrevealed and deliciously delightful favorite!), and the latest evolutions of some of his signature recipes – creamed herb salad, cashew milk tea, cheesy kale salad, and some surprises! It all starts with a visit to the fabulous Santa Barbara farmer’s market on Saturday morning to scout out the freshest ingredients straight from local organic farmers!
Meals are included and you don’t need to bring anything, not even a note book as we send you the recipes via email afterwards.
Parking: The parking near the boat (in the harbor parking lots) is 90 minutes f-ree from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM. So we have to go move the cars every 90 minutes during the day. But overnight is fine. There is also a pay-lot if you prefer. It is $2 per hour or $12 max per day.
Lodging: You are welcome to crash on the boat. Some others are staying on the boat too and some are staying in local hotels nearby. The spaces on the boat are two couches in the main (dining) cabin around the middle of the boat (slightly to the back). There are also outside spaces to sleep in the middle and back. You’d be in a sleeping bag on the deck. It is quite nice if you don’t mind sleeping on a hard wood surface. The restrooms on the dock are really nice with showers and are cleaned daily! We don’t use the one on the boat while we are in the harbor.
The Santa Barbara harbor is located on Cabrillo Blvd. by Santa Barbara City College. I recommend any of the hotels on W. Cabrillo Blvd. or on Castillo St. if you prefer not to stay on the boat. There are also some cute Bed & Breakfasts maybe 10-12 minutes from the boat (although you’ll probably skip out on their breakfast!)
