Where: In our Pine Mountain Club Retreat House About Storm: The retreat is led by Storm Talifero (above), a 30-year veteran of the raw-vegan lifestyle who at 55 looks to be in his 30's. One of the oldest long-term raw-vegans around, he is also known throughout the raw food movement for having a remarkable raw-physique. He attributes his success with the raw food diet to his tasty, simple but balanced raw foods recipes and to exercise. He has designed a workout program called "The Circular Workout" which he teaches at the retreat to balance the muscles using your own weight to tone and build muscle rather than using weights which can cause un-natural body shaping. "The Circular Workout" draws in part on various martial arts, yoga and other disciplines. At this retreat you will learn how to tone and build muscle on raw foods. Learn how to Live on Raw Food: The main focus of this retreat is to give you the tools you need to maximize your health and fitness in a simple way that you can do every day at home. You will learn how to shop for and prepare a repetoire of staple raw food recipes used by Storm and his family that are easy and affordable to make, that taste fantastic, and that provide you with a well-balanced raw vegan diet that includes all the nutrients that you need to thrive long-term on this diet. These basic recipes consist of fruit and fruit juices, vegetables, salads and vegetable juices, and nutmilks. This is The Circular Workout, developed by Storm. It is a workout that uses every muscle in your body, doing circular motions that work all the muscles in each muscle group evenly in order to sculpt a physique that is beautifully well-balanced and that will be easily maintained long term. This workout uses the hula hoop, the Bo stick, and the jump rope. It can be done by anyone at any level of health taken at ones own pace. It provides stretching, strengthening, and aerobic conditioning. It is relaxing and calming. It is also energizing, awakening the body's natural energy streams. Learn the principles behind "The Circular Workout", such as how to move the body's Chi energy in a circular form to enhance vibrant health and speed weight loss. This workout is based on secrets of the Kung Fu masters who first became masters of inner energy while only later taking some of this energy and devoting it to martial arts.
