A Salad Dressing Kids Love!


When you have ┬ákids on a raw vegan diet, they have to eat salads or risk deficiencies. But making salad is an art-form that eludes most of us. And believe me it’s all in the dressing! So here is a salad dressing from the Maestro himself that has helped our kids relish pounds and pounds of mineral-abundant dark leafy greens and nutrient-rich veggies with blissful smiles on their faces….

Storm’s Sweet Raw Ranch Salad Dressing….


2 cups raw cashews – soaked 6 to 12 hours

1-2 tbsp olive oil (optional)

Celtic sea salt (salt to taste)

Juice of 1 lemon (or 1 to 2 tsp vinegar)

Sweetener of your choice (We use 1 tbsp honey but 2 pitted medjool dates would work well too)


Blend in Vitamix / blender until completely smooth

Add a little water slowly until the consistency of dressing.

Can also be done with cashews that have not been soaked. In this case, blend cashews into powder first in Vitamix, Nutri-bullet or coffee grinder.
